I love Spring. It's the forth day of the forth month and I can see flowers blooming on the tree outside my front window. It's absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I'm still wearing my winter jacket, but there's not much I can do about that. However when I'm inside staring up at the blue, blue sky, I think of home.

I was writting an essay to send into a travel anthology and it was all about visiting your homeland and I ended up talking about how much it has changed for me. I guess you like to think your hometown will always stay the same but places grow just as much as people. Maybe it's because we want to have a constant somewhere in our lives and bin our hopes on a bunch of buildings. I guess I have to look for the constant somewhere else...

As of Sunday night, us at Practicum Theatre (me, Sam Wright and James Flynn) have got all of our selections made for our Breaking News: Rachel Corrie night which will actually be 3 nights now - 3-5 May at Theatre 503 in Battersea. It was crazy sitting down with 43 scripts and having to pick the best 12. There were some really close calls but we have it all sorted and have picked selections from London, New York, Spain, St. Albans and West Yorkshire with a nice mix of Australian, American and British writers. It really excites me that we could send out a call as a relatively young company and get such a great response! Now it's down to the nitty gritty....any directors out there?

I bet you're all wondering what's happening with Accents on Words. Well...it's still going strong. On May 5th (overlap with my other show, I know...how can you choose!), we'll be at the BAC performing as part of the Apples and Snakes night, Duos. We've also filmed a promo/ sample of our show so that we can send it round to festivals. Maybe one day they'll say yes...

Oh! Before I end this wee update, you know how I was all worried about my entrance into university? Well I didn't REALLY need to worry as, as, as...I got in! Hoorah! That means I'll officially be a student again in September. How crazy is that. Pretty crazy I say. Two nights a week for two years. I must be mad!
